New Delhi: Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) organisers have announced the PKL 11 Playoffs and Final dates. The venue of the final and the playoffs have also been confirmed. Mashal Sports, the organisers of the marquee league, announced that the Playoff and the final will be hosted by the Badminton Hall in Balewadi Sports Complex in Pune from December 26 to December 29, 2024.
The top two teams in the league phase will reach the semi-finals directly, while the third, fourth, fifth and sixth-placed teams will lock horns in the Eliminator stage on December 26, 2024.
The team that finishes third will face the side that finishes sixth in Eliminator 1. The team that ends the league stage in fourth place will face off with the team that finishes fifth in Eliminator 2.
The winner of Eliminator 1 will then take on table toppers in Semi-Final 1 while the winner of Eliminator 2 will play against the second-placed team in Semi-Final 2 on December 27, 2024. Following the two semi-finals, the winners of both last four fixtures will battle it out in the grand finale on December 29, 2024, for the coveted PKL title.
The league stage is currently being played in Noida. The high-octane matches are taking place at the Noida Indoor Stadium until December 1. Following the Noida leg, the tournament will move to Pune for the league games from December 3 to 24, followed by the Playoffs and the final.
Steelers rule the roost in PKL 11
Haryana Steelers remain at the top of the table with 51 points after 13 matches. The Steelers have won 10 and lost just three games so far and have a superb points difference (PD) of 56. U Mumba are sitting second in the table with 45 points followed by Dabang Delhi and Telugu Titans with 43 points each in their kitties.
