New Delhi: The Indian men’s cricket team will play a two-day pink-ball practice match in Canberra ahead of the second Test match in Adelaide. This will allow the visitors to not just acclimatise for the Day-Night Test match, but also chalk out their playing XI with some players available for selection.
Indian skipper Rohit Sharma will return to lead the side after missing the Border-Gavaskar Trophy opener in Perth after staying back in India for the birth of his second child. Top order batter Shubman Gill is also reported to have recovered from his thumb injury and will be up for selection.
