New Delhi: The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will be the season-ender race which could decide the Formula One constructors’ world champion for the first time since 1998. It was Australia’s Oscar Piastri who beat Lando Norris for a one-two finish for McLaren in what was the final practice on Saturday.
Piastri got better of Norris by a difference of 0.193 seconds and was 0.39 seconds ahead of seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, who will be in his final race week with Mercedes. Max Verstappen of Red Bull came fourth and Carlos Sainz of Ferrari was fifth.

The teams will deliver in the hot and humid conditions at the Yas Marina Circuit where the temperature is as high as 41 degrees (track) and 28 (air), as per the reports from news agency AFP.
McLaren is currently on top of the standings with 640 points, including 20 podiums. They are 21 points ahead of Ferrari and 44 more points can be won on Sunday.
“I think we’re really starting to get a picture of the situation out there. McLaren are in a league of their own and then it’s close behind,” Mercedes’ retired 2016 champion Nico Rosberg told Sky Sports television.
“Lewis has a great chance to finish on a high here, at the moment,” he added.
