Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy Knockout Stage: Schedule, Teams & Live Streaming

New Delhi: The Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, India’s premier domestic competition, is set to enter the knockout stage, starting on Monday. After the completion of 127 games across five groups, top 10 teams will battle in the next round in the quest of winning the nationals title.

The teams which topped the points table of each group, along with the best second-placed team, have already confirmed their slots in the quarterfinal stage. Meanwhile, four teams, who finished second in the remaining four groups, will play in the pre-quarterfinals. The winners of the two pre-quarters matches will enter the quarterfinals. This will be further staged with the two semifinals followed by a final.

Baroda, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Mumbai, and Vidarbha were the table toppers of the five groups while Saurashtra was the best second-positioned team with a net-run-rate (NRR) of +2.257.

Bengal, Chandigarh, Andhra, and Uttar Pradesh will compete in the pre-quarterfinal matches.

Where will the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy knockout matches take place?

Seven of the nine knockout games in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy will take place at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Only the two quarterfinal matches between Madhya Pradesh Vs Saurashtra and Mumbai Vs Vidarbha will be staged at the Alur Cricket Stadium in Alur.
