New Delhi: Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim has announced his retirement from international cricket with immediate effect. On Friday, the left-handed batter took to his social media account to announce the decision saying that it was a honour and privilege to represent his country. Imad made his ODI debut for Pakistan in July 2015 in a game against Sri Lanka while played his last ODI in November 2020.
The all-rounder made his T20I debut also in 2015 against Zimbabwe and went on to become a stupendous hand for the Men in Green in the shortest format. Announcing his decision, he said that every moment while playing for Pakistan will be unforgettable and also thanked fans for their unwavering support and love. The all-rounder added he will continue playing in domestic and franchise cricket and will give his best to entertain the fans.
