New Delhi: Lionel Messi has sent a message to David Beckham after he sent him a special pair of adidas Predator boots. The Inter Miami co-owner signed the new pair of boots, marking the 30th anniversary of the boots that holds a link with the Manchester United and England legends legacy.
The 37-year-old Argentine revealed in an Instagram story that he has received a pair as a gift from Beckham. Messi shared a picture and wrote, “I already have them at home!! Thanks @DavidBeckham.”
The eight-time Ballon d’Or winner enjoyed a remarkable 2024 season in MLS, scoring 20 goals and registering 10 assists in 19 appearances. He even led Inter Miami to their first-ever Supporters’ Shield, helping the team achieve a league-record 74 points.
However, Inter Miami suffered a stunning upset in the playoffs, losing to Atlanta United. Former Barcelona star will next be seen in action when Argentina takes on Uruguay in March. It remains to be seen whether he will wear the boots he has been gifted by Beckham or not.
