IND vs AUS 3rd Test LIVE SCORE: India bowled for 260 in first innings

IND vs AUS 3rd Test LIVE STREAMING: Half-centuries from KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja and a crucial partnership between Akash Deep and Jasprit Bumrah for the last wicket ensured that Team India avoided the follow-on in the 3rd Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at The Gabba in Brisbane on Tuesday, December 17.

Crucial innings from KL Rahul and Jadeja kept the Aussies at bay before a 39-run unbeaten partnership between Bumrah and Deep completely left them frustrated, leaving the Indian team management and fans with joy. The hosts were ultimately left frustrated by the rain breaks and the resilience of Indian batters as the victory in the 3rd Test seems to be slipping away from their hands.

KL Rahul edged the first ball of Day 4 onto slips, and it seemed like a straightforward catch to one of the best fielders Steven Smith. However, he dropped the chance and gave a lifeline to the Indian opener. Rahul made the most of the lifeline and showed great resilience to get his team to a safe spot.

On the other end, Rohit Sharma struggled to score runs against the Australian pace attack and was removed by Cummins on 10 runs. After Rohit’s dismissal, India were left reeling at 74/5 and the hosts were feeling confident of bowling India out and forcing a follow-on. But Rahul and Jadeja forged a 67-run partnership for the sixth wicket to frustrate the Aussies. Nathan Lyon dismissed Rahul on 84 runs as Steve Smith pulled off an absolute stunner at slips.

Nitish and Jadeja stitched another fifty-run partnership for the seventh wicket but Australia made a great comeback in the match as Cummins dismissed Nitish on 16 runs. The Australian skipper also removed Jadeja on 77 runs. Akash Deep and Bumrah batted brilliantly and ensured that the Men in Blue avoided the follow-on Day 4.
