Prithvi Shaw shares cryptic social media post after MCA slammed opener for fitness

New Delhi: Prithvi Shaw has been in the spotlight after his snub from Mumbai’s Vijay Hazare Trophy squad. He was part of Mumbai’s Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy-winning team but now has been targeted on his fitness and discipline issues.

Recently an MCA official in an interaction with PTI talked about Shaw’s fitness and discipline and said that in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Mumbai were playing with 10 fielders and the team was forced to hide Shaw as he was barely able to get to the ball.

“Even while batting, we could see he was troubled reaching to the ball. His fitness, discipline and attitude are poor and it is pretty simple, there cannot be different rules for different players. Even the seniors in the team have started complaining about his attitude now” MCA official said to PTI.

He further added that no one is Shaw’s enemy but he is his own enemy and reactions on social media don’t impact the Mumbai selectors and the MCA. Meanwhile, the opener has again shared a cryptic story on Instagram where the cricketer seems to be targeting MCA official. “If you don’t understand it fully, don’t speak on it. Too many people have full opinions with half the facts” Shaw posted on Instagram story.
