New Delhi: Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal has been in the spotlight recently due to divorce rumours with his wife Dhanashree Verma. The couple, who tied the knot on December 22, 2020, is making headlines due to divorce rumours.
Speculation about their married life has intensified after they decided to unfollow each other on Instagram. Chahal has also deleted all photos featuring Dhanashree from his social media account, while Dhanashree still has a few pictures of him on her account.
Chahal now has posted a cryptic message on his Instagram story that read “Hard work spotlights the character of people. You know your journey. You know your pain. You know what all you have done to reach here. The World knows. You stand tall. You have worked with all your sweat to make your father and your mother proud. This is not the first time rumours about their divorce have surfaced in the media. Dhanashree dropped the “Chahal” surname from her Instagram account in 2023, sparking concerns about their marriage but the couple took to Instagram and shared “A humble request to you all to not believe in any sort of rumours pertaining to our relationship. Kindly, put an end to it. Love and Light to Everyone”.

Yuzvendra Chahal married Dhanashree Verma in a beautiful ceremony in Gurugram in December 2020. Dhanashree is a dentist and choreographer in Mumbai. Their love story started in 2019 when Chahal joined Dhanashree’s YouTube dance classes. They spent a lot of time together and a strong bond formed between them, leading to their engagement. Their wedding was an intimate affair, attended by close friends and family, which marked a new chapter in their relationship. Dhanashree participated in the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 and revealed how their relationship began during the pandemic.
“During the lockdown, Yuzi decided he wanted to learn dance after seeing my videos. He approached me, and I agreed to teach him” she said.
