New Delhi: The announcement date for India’s Champions Trophy 2025 squad has finally been confirmed. The India squad for the much-awaited ICC tournament will be announced on January 18, Saturday, as per multiple media reports. The announcement is expected to be made at a press conference by chairman of selectors Ajit Agarkar and will also see skipper Rohit Sharma in attendance.
Reports suggest that the press conference will be held at the iconic Wankhede stadium in Mumbai and the BCCI might also announce the ODI squad for the England series. The Indian cricket board last week named the T20I squad for the England series while skipped the deadline date of January 12 for announcing the Champions Trophy 2025 provisional squad.
