The Italian youngster was sharp despite being tested by the Danish player Holger Rune. The two-time Grand Slam champion showed gumption to get over the injury scare as he prevailed by a margin of 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 in the Round of 16 at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne Park.
