New Delhi: The International Cricket Council has announced the ticket sales for the Pakistan leg of next month’s Champions Trophy. The world cricket body has made the announcement despite the struggles of Pakistan to meet the stadium renovation deadline.

The tickets will be sold from Tuesday onwards despite the stadium renovation work in the host nation is yet to be completed. The venues at Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi are yet to be readied as a January 30 deadline looms ahead of the handover of the stadiums to the ICC.

The seventh edition of the Champions Trophy will be held across Pakistan and Dubai from February 19. Ticket information for the matches of India, who will be playing in Dubai, will be made available in the coming days.

The Pakistan Cricket Board had brushed off speculations that the marquee event, which is returning after a gap of seven years, will be moved out of the country due to delayed renovation work at the three venues – Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium and Karachi’s National Bank Stadium.
