New Delhi: Ruben Amorin has been at Manchester United for two months, and it’s fairly obvious which players he thinks are the best and who are the worst. Marcus Rashford, who has been barred from any first-team play for nearly seven weeks, is undoubtedly the first name that most fans will think of. He watched 11 straight games from home in the stands, and Amorim has often said that he has been forced to leave the forward out of the lineup because of his poor training performances.
As soon as Amorim took over, Antony, like temporary Ruud van Nistelrooy, played a significantly diminished role, making nine appearances and starting only twice. This week, he left on loan to Real Betis without playing a single Premier League game in 2024–2025. Supporters, however, soon realized that Casemiro was not very helpful to the boss in other places.
What is the current situation for Casemiro

In the absence of Kobbie Mainoo, the seasoned veteran was selected to play with Christian Eriksen in the middle of the field at Portman Road during Amorim’s opening match against Ipswich Town on November 24. Following the distribution of the spoils, Alan Shearer asserted that it would be “nigh on impossible” for the elderly pair to effectively carry out the responsibilities expected of them under Amorim’s recently established system.
Since then, the 32-year-old Casemiro has only made five additional appearances, three of which were off the bench, and has missed 11 games as a substitute. He hasn’t performed yet this year. But a way out was presented to him. He is currently United’s highest earner at an absurd £350,000 per week, and he was well aware that the Serie A team couldn’t match that amount.
According to Times Sport, Roma approached them at the start of the transfer window to try to work out a deal for the five-time Champions League winner, but were “turned down” by the player because of wage concerns. He had instead set his sights on a move to Saudi Arabia, where clubs could even raise his salary if he agreed to end his storied European career. There are now no suitors in line, and the window is only five days old.
Manchester United midfielder Casemiro has reportedly turned down a move to Serie A this month due to wage concerns. According to reports, the Brazilian would rather have his move to Saudi instead of joining Roma. Football Sports News: Latest Cricket News, Cricket Live Score, Sports Breaking News from Sports Today
