Tierra del Fuego National Park

Tierra del Fuego National Park is a national park on the Argentine part of the island of Tierra del Fuego. It was established on October 15, 1960, and expanded in 1966. It was the first shoreline national park to be established in Argentina. The park has dramatic scenery, with waterfalls, forests, mountains, and glaciers. There are 20 species of terrestrial mammals, including the guanaco, Andean fox, North American beaver, European rabbit and muskrat and around 90 species of birds.

Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is a koala sanctuary in Australia’s Queensland. It was established in 1927, and is the oldest and largest koala sanctuary of its kind in the world. There are around 80 species of Australian animals in the park. Rainbow lorikeets fly to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary for the specially prepared nectar meals there.
