New Delhi: Abhishek Sharma scored the second fastest century by an Indian in T20Is during the fifth T20I against England in Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium on Sunday. He reached the triple figures in 37 balls after England won the toss and decided to ball.
The left hander smashed five boundaries and 10 sixes on way to his century, which places him second behind Rohit Sharma’s 35-ball mark against Sri Lanka.
After hitting the second-fastest fifty for India, in 17 balls, after Yuvraj Singh’s 12-ball knock against England in 2007, Sharma tore into the ENgland bowling attack.
