IMARC Group in its report stated that the India chocolate market growth is because of the middle class and the corresponding rise of disposable incomes among Indians. “The youthful demography characterized by Western influence is also driving chocolate consumption,” it added.
The chocolate market is growing at a rapid pace due to the rise of e-commerce platforms across the country and demand for domestic and international chocolate products. White chocolate and milk chocolate have a significant share in the total market. The most popular chocolate brands in India are Cadbury, Nestle, Ferrero Rocher, Amul, Parle, Mars and Hershey.
