New Delhi: Following their 3-1 Champions League victory over the Bianconeri on Wednesday, PSV made fun of Juventus by posting an Italian message along with a photo of Noa Lang. With a 3-1 victory at home on Wednesday, PSV defeated Juventus 4-3 overall and advanced to the Round of 16 of the Champions League, where they will now face Arsenal after the draw was decided earlier. They defeated the Italian powerhouse 3-1 at Philips Stadion with goals from Perisic, Saibari and Flamingo in the second leg to guarantee their spot in the Champions League last 16.
The Dutch team posted a photo of Noa Lang with the player of the match award and an Italian statement on social media to commemorate the accomplishment. PSV wrote, “Ciao a tutti Buongiorno,” using a kiss emoji and an Italian flag. Several Inter supporters, Juventus’ fiercest rivals, commented on the post and shared it on Facebook and Instagram. After defeating Juventus a few days back, Lang, who was a January transfer target for Napoli, acknowledged that he wanted to join the Partenopei. PSV will soon find out if they will play Arsenal or Inter in the Champions League Round of 16 draw.
