Australia qualify for Champions Trophy 2025 semifinal after Afghanistan washout

New Delhi: Australia became the first team from Group B to secure qualification for the 2025 Champions Trophy semi-final after their match against Afghanistan was abandoned due to rain and the wet outfield at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Friday, February 28. India and New Zealand have qualified from Group A of the tournament. The match between South Africa and England on Saturday will decide who between the Proteas and the Afghans will go to the semifinal from Group B.
