New Delhi: India’s top sports streaming platform Fancode has decided to suspend the telecast of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in India in the aftermath of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. The decision from PSL 2025’s official broadcaster comes after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, in which at least 26 people were killed and many others injured.
According to a report in the Times of India, Fancode has decided to stop the streaming of PSL in India, effective immediately from Thursday. Though the streaming platform is yet to release any official statement but reports suggest that it had been facing criticism on social media platforms since the attack took place. Since the reports of Fancode suspending PSL 2025 streaming went viral on social media, Indian fans have welcomed the decision.
