New Delhi: Bollywood actor and now newly elected Member of Parliament Kangana Ranaut, who won the Lok Sabha elections 2024 from the Mandi constituency in Himachal Pradesh on a Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) ticket, took part in PM Modi’s oath-taking ceremony.
For the swearing-in ceremony, the Queen actress opted for a pristine crepe saree, the perfect sartorial choice for the historic day. The silk saree was embellished with golden and zari embroidery. The nine yards exhibit exquisite craftsmanship with its handloom weaving and intricate detailing, reflecting the rich heritage of India.
She complemented her look with minimal jewellery from the shelves of Amrapali Jewellers and wore a pearls and a diamond necklace with drop earrings. Her hair was styled in a retro Bollywood look with a side partition and soft curls on either side. Matching her sophisticated and alluring look, she kept her makeup simple and elegant with silver glittery eyes and subtle nude makeup.

Bollywood legend Anupam Kher also posed with Kangana and shared a bunch of pictures with her with the caption “QUEEN!! Before the Oath Ceremony!”
Besides Kangana, many other A-listed celebrities, including Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Rajinikanth, Anil Kapoor and others, took part in the historic event.
Meanwhile, the newly-elected Member of Parliament, Kangana Ranaut, recently grabbed headlines when she was travelling to New Delhi on June 6. At the Chandigarh Airport, the actress-turned-politician was slapped by an on-duty female CISF constable, who identified as Kulwinder Kaur and claimed that she was unhappy with Kangana’s comment regarding women of Punjab during the farmers’ agitation against the three farm laws. The female constable was later arrested.
