Puducherry: Two women from same family and one woman is in critical condition after reportedly inhaling carbon monoxide from the gas geyser installed in their residence in Puducherry on Tuesday, June 11.
According to the police, Senthamarai (72), hail from Reddiyar palayam fainted when she went to the toilet in her house. Her daughter Kamatshi (55) who went to see Senthamarai who had also fainted inhaling carbon monoxide from the gas geyser and fell unconscious. Another woman in the house Bhakyalakshmi has also fainted, while Senthamarai and Kamatshi died on the way to hospital, Bhakyalakshmi is in intensive care.
Further investigation is underway.
