New Delhi: The much-awaited open bus victory parade of the Indian cricket team to celebrate the T20 World Cup triumph concluded at the iconic Wankhede stadium in Mumbai on late Thursday evening. As long as it was expected to be, the blue bus navigated swiftly through the roads of the city taking a lesser time to reach the iconic cricket stadium.
It seemed like the entire Mumbai city was out on the roads as they greeted and celebrated the glorious win with the World champions all through till the bus ferrying Rohit Sharma and his men reached the stadium. During the parade, Mumbai was gripped with the loud chants for the victorious Indian team as the city saw thousands as part of the grand celebrations.

Out of what could be heard in the noisy atmosphere and the madness exhibited on the streets of Mumbai, louds chants for skipper Rohit Sharma and star batter Virat Kohli were vividly heard. The duo also lifted the trophy together, raising it towards the fans while their celebrations were in place.

Amid the fanfare and the entire extravaganza, Kohli was also seen giving the crowd flying kiss as the blues were welcomed home with grandest of celebrations. Kohli played a pivotal knock in the summit clash, which helped Team India pile up a competitive score on board.

Earlier in the day, the victorious Indian cricket team arrived to a heroic welcome at the Mumbai airport as an ocean of fans greeted them outside the premises as the team stepped out of the airport. The plane which carried the world champions was given a water salute upon arrival in Mumbai after Rohit and Co. completed the Delhi leg of the felicitation cermony.
