Moscow: A video showing Russian President Vladimir Putin driving Prime Minister Narendra Modi in an electric car went viral on social media. This comes as an attempt to show the growing relations between the town nations and their leaders.
The video released by Russia in India on their X handle showed the two leaders enjoying the ride and then heading towards their meeting.
“ #Russia’s President Vladimir Putin and #India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi @narendramodi in #NovoOgaryovo,” the tweet read.
PM Modi arrived in Moscow on Monday for a two-day visit. He was received by the Russian counterpart at Novo-Ogarevo. The two then took a small ride and then headed for their private meet.
President Putin told the Prime Minister, “Esteemed Prime Minister! Dear friend! Good afternoon again, I am very glad to see you. We will have official conversations tomorrow, but today, in this homely environment, we can calmly talk about probably the same issues – but unofficially.”
During the private meeting, Putin said, “You have dedicated your entire life to serving the Indian people, and people feel it,” to which PM replied, “You are right, I have only one goal – my country, the people of India.”
