New Delhi: Budget carrier IndiGo’s app and website are set to receive a complete makeover as the airline continues to focus on enhancing customer experience across touchpoints. IndiGo plans to overhaul its user interface and user experience for the website and app, with the launch scheduled for August 2024, it said in an official update.
Streamlining and ease of booking
IndiGo’s emphasis is on the ease of booking and streamlining the process for customers by deploying a new design and architecture. The revamped website and app designs are ready for testing, IndiGo said in a statement. “Our platforms are poised to deliver a seamless intuitive booking process,” said IndiGo’s chief digital and information officer Neetan Chopra.
IndiGo’s new website and app are set to receive an interactive design with cutting-edge technical support. The new app and website launch will coincide with IndiGo’s anniversary celebrations, it said. The app will be released to a select few customers for beta testing and eventual launch, the airline added.
IndiGo travel advisory amid Mumbai flight disruptions
IndiGo issued a travel advisory in view of the flight disruptions caused by incessant rains in Mumbai. The airline urged passengers to monitor their flight status citing the weather-related air traffic congestion. More than 50 flights which were scheduled to land in Mumbai have been impacted by the Maximum City’s weather.
IndiGo to launch Mumbai-Vijaywada flight
IndiGo announced the launch of a flight connecting Mumbai, Maharashtra, with Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, on August 16, 2024, in a move likely to connect two business hubs. The newest flight will add to Vijaywada’s record as a flight hub taking the total flight count from the city to 130 per week, according to a statement dated July 3.
