New Delhi: Shloka Mehta Ambani’s second look from the wedding ceremony is creating waves over the internet. The Ambani ‘badi bahu’, Shloka Mehta, rewore her own wedding lehenga for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding. The resplendent look was shared by her stylist and sister, Diya Mehta, on Instagram. Shloka repurposed her own wedding lehenga-choli for her brother-in-law, Anant Ambani’s wedding. To give her a fresh look, her sister decided to change the undertone of her lehenga to pink.

Designer Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, who designed Shloka’s wedding lehenga, shared the pictures on Instagram. Diya Mehta captioned, ‘We wanted to create a special look that celebrates love, and what better than @shloka11’s own wedding lehenga. We decided to change the undertone to pink for a fresh look. She looks ethereal in this stunning custom @abujanisandeepkhosla lehenga!’
Repurposing bridal lehenga
Mehta’s lehenga featured intricate cutwork jaali in zardozi with fine zardozi and jadau embroidery. The jewellery that she paired with the lehenga was nothing short of bling. Wearing Kantilal Chhotalal Jewellers, she pulled off a necklace of brilliant-cut solitaire diamonds. She also donned cascading heart and round solitaire cuff earrings and a heart-shaped maang tikka to complete the look.
The wedding celebration of Radhika and Anant Ambani took place at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. The ‘Mangal Utsav,’ or the wedding reception, will be held on July 14.
