Gambhir-Agarkar meet next week
According to a report published in Hindustan Times, head coach Gambhir will meet chief selector of the Indian team Ajit Agarkar next week to finalise the squads for the tour. Two squads will be picked for the tour, with Hardik Pandya at the helm for the T20I series while KL Rahul to lead India in the ODIs likely. Along with Rahul return, who is also expected to lead the Men in Blue for the 50-over games, seasoned player Shreyas Iyer is also expected to make a comeback in the ODIs.

The first T20I will take place in Pallekele, which will host all the three T20I games. Similarly, the ODI series which was supposed to begin on August 1 will now start a day later on August 2.
