Grassroot boxing kicks off with thrilling matches and rising stars

The much-anticipated Grassroot Boxing event launched in the City with electrifying and nail-biting matches, delighting sports fans. A total of 44 boxers have entered this prestigious competition, with winners emerging in various weight categories. Taher Khurram triumphed in the 94kg category, Majhar Hussain in the 53.523kg category, Vikram Singh Jestha in the 50.802kg category, and both Pradish A and Mohammed Shamin clinched victories in the 52.163kg category, among others who have claimed the title.

Sanna Suri, a renowned personality and internet sensation, and Bollywood actress with a massive following on Instagram, was also present at the event. Sanna Suri, wife of Taher Khuram manages his fights and is a very big supporter of Taher.

Grassroot Boxing focuses on nurturing talent from the grassroots level, providing essential resources, coaching, and career-building opportunities to young and amateur boxers. The competition aims to cultivate a pool of adept athletes ready to compete on the global stage. Victories in this event not only enhance the boxers’ Boxrec records but also pave the way for future opportunities and recognition within the international boxing community.
