Chennai: For the first time in Tamil Nadu, Chief Minister MK Stalin on Monday launched the instant online issuance of building permits and announced 100 percent exemption from consideration fees, structure, and facility fees. The Tamil Nadu government has informed that this scheme applies to houses built in 3,500 sqft on plots up to 2,500 sqft.

How to apply for building approval online in Tamil Nadu

According to this scheme, it is informed to apply online at www.onlineppa.tn.gov.in <http://www.onlineppa.tn.gov.in/>. Based on the details provided by the applicant online, permission for the buildings will be given immediately.

Following a request from the construction companies, the Tamil Nadu government announced that all commercial buildings with a building area of ​​300 square meters and a height of less than 14 meters would be exempted from getting a building completion certificate and had recently issued an ordinance to that effect.
