FBI Confirms Trump was Struck by Bullet During Assassination Attempt at Pennsylvania Rally

Washington: The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on Saturday confirmed that a bullet had indeed struck Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump‘s ear after a gunman opened fire at his Pennsylvania rally earlier this week.

“What struck former President Trump in the ear was a bullet, whether whole or fragmented into smaller pieces, fired from the deceased subject’s rifle,” the FBI said in a statement.

This statement from the federal agency marked the most definitive law enforcement account of Trump’s injuries and followed ambiguous comments earlier in the week from Director Christopher Wray cast doubt on whether a bullet had hit Trump.
