Hyderabad: Gadwal MLA Bandla Krishnamohan Reddy, who recently joined Congress party, is back in BRS on Tuesday.
The MLA met BRS party working president KT Rama Rao at the BRS legislature party office on Telangana Assembly premises.
Speaking to Tv9 Telugu, Krishnamohan Reddy said, “I have been in BRS and did not change party. I haven’t joined Congress and will meet KCR soon as well.”
He joined Congress on July 6 in the presence of CM Revanth Reddy and other Congress leaders. He was reportedly unhappy in Congress and regretted his decision.
This could be a shot in the arm for the BRS, which has been losing MLAs in recent times. The MLAs who jumped ship so far into Congress include former speaker and Banswada MLA Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, Chevella MLA Kale Yadaiah, Jagtial MLA Sanjay Kumar, Bhadrachalam MLA Tellam Venkat Rao, Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagender, Station Ghanpur MLA Kadiyam Srihari.
