Paris Olympics 2024, India’s Day 7 Schedule: Shooter Manu Bhaker & shuttler Lakshya Sen in action

New Delhi: Shooter Swapnil Kusale made an incredible comeback and won a bronze medal for India. Kusale shot an aggregate of 451.4 in the final and extended India’s medal tally on Day 6 of the Summer Games in Paris. With three bronze medals in shooting events, India have taken the 42nd position in the medal standings of the Paris Olympics.

It is going to be a busy day for the Indian contingent at the Paris Olympics 2024. Golfers Shubhankar Sharma and Ganganjeet Bhullar will start India’s campaign in the men’s individual stroke play round 2.

Manu Bhaker will be back in action in the 25m women’s air pistol event (Qualification). After the disappointing end in the men’s event, archer Dhiraj Bommadevara will feature in the mixed-team event.

Indian shuttler Lakshya Sen will face Chinese Taipei’s Chou Tien Chen in the men’s singles quarter-finals. Indian men’s hockey team will face Australia in their last pool match today. Belgium defeated Harmanpreet and Co. by 2-1 on Day 6 of the Summer Games. Shooter Anantjeet Singh Naruka will feature in the men’s skeet qualification.

Ankita Dhyani, Parul Chaudhary, and Tajinderpal Singh Toor will also be in action in the Athletics event. Tulika Maan will also feature in the women’s +78 Kg Judo event and Balraj Panwar will be in action in men’s single sculls rowing final D.
