New Delhi: After a bloodbath on Dalal Street on Monday, Indian indices are expected to remain in red on Tuesday following a decline in Wall Street indices. The Dow Jones plunged 1,000 points, while the S&P 500 was down 3.10 per cent and the Nasdaq plunged 4 per cent on Monday. Gold buying surged, indicating a jump in prices of the yellow metal.Here are stocks that are likely to remain in focus on Tuesday, August 6, 2024:
Deepak Nitrite: The company’s net profit 35.1 per cent to Rs 202.5 crore in Q1 FY25, compared to
Rs 150 crore in the year ago period. The company’s EBITDA margin expanded to 14.35 per cent in Q1FY25 from 11.9 per cent in the year ago period.
SP Group: The infrastructure giant said funds raised from foreign lenders help to create infra assets and refused to call them a loan bailout.
Biocon: The US FDA gave its report on the company’s Vizag facility in which it was given a “no more regulatory action needed” certificate.
Power Mech: The company reportedly received a Rs 110.57 crore order from the Dangote Petroleum Refiners and Petrochemical. Earlier, Power Mech received a Rs 142.5 crore order from Meenakshi Energy.
Adani Energy Solutions: The Adani Group company raised funds worth Rs 8,373 crore via the QIP route for renewable energy-based power supply capacity creation.
Lupin: The drugmaker received a showcause notice from the Maharashtra GST Authority for Rs 672.4 crore in taxes and penalties.
HCC: The company’s Q1 net loss stood at Rs 2.5 crore compared to a Rs 52.7 crore profit in the year ago period. The company’s EBOTDA was down 48.5 per cent year-on-year.
Bharti Airtel: The telco reported a near-doubling of Q1 net profit to Rs 4,159 crore, while revenue jumped 2.1 per cent to Rs 38,506.4 crore in the year-ago period.
Marico: The consumer goods maker reported a strong outlook with a 20-25 per cent projected CAGR in FY27. The company expects to expand its domestic revenue share of foods and personal care to 25 per cent in FY27, it said.
