New Delhi: After going down in the second ODI match against Sri Lanka, India will face a tough test in the third and final ODI of the series on Wednesday. The Men in Blue will be looking to bounce back in the series and make it 1-1 after the first game ended in a tie.
Ahead of the final battle of the series, the Indian team was spotted practicing in the nets on Tuesday. While everything was usual as ever, skipper Rohit Sharma and veteran batter Virat Kohli were seen providing vice-captain Shubman Gill some batting tit-bits. The opening batter, who has not been in the best of the forms, was seen having a discussion with both the senior players of the team.

India aim to bounce back
Apart from skipper, none other player could really show up during the opening two games of the ODI series. Gill, who had a poor outing in the first two matches will be looking to get some runs under his belt. Kohli, too, has failed to display his exuberance with scores of 24 and 14 in the first two ODIs respectively. The Men in Blue will aim to bounce back and show some strength in the series decider.
The first ODI between the two teams ended in a tie, after a masterclass of bowling from Charith Asalanka. In the next match, Sri Lanka shocked the visitors and defeated them by 32 runs. Before the 50-over series, India clean swept the Lankans 3-0 in the T20I series.
