Barcelona’s first big signing of the summer is Dani Olmo. The club confirmed the deal with RB Leipzig, agreeing on a €55 million fee with potential add-ons of €7 million. Olmo, who once trained in Barcelona’s La Masia academy, returns to the club on a six-year contract that runs until 2030. The Spaniard, now 26, has a release clause of €500 million.

Olmo’s return to Barcelona comes after the club faced frustration in trying to sign Athletic Club’s Nico Williams. With the financial restrictions imposed by La Liga’s spending cap, this signing marks a significant move for Barça as they rebuild under new manager Hansi Flick.

After a couple of failed bids, Chelsea finally convinced Wolves to let the 24-year-old Portugal international move to Stamford Bridge. Neto, who has made 135 appearances and scored 14 goals for Wolves since joining in 2019, is set to undergo a medical before finalising his move. This transfer pushes Chelsea’s summer spending past £200 million, adding to a squad already brimming with new talent.

This transfer is seen as a significant coup for the Hammers, who are reshaping their squad under new manager Julen Lopetegui.
