Several individuals familiar with the enhanced security measures, speaking on the condition of anonymity due to the sensitive nature of the details, confirmed the changes, as per a report from the New York Times.

The changes come after a shocking incident on July 13, when a gunman opened fire at an outdoor Trump campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The attack resulted in Mr. Trump sustaining a injury, while a spectator was killed and two others were seriously wounded.
