New Delhi: UFC 305 is all set to kick off on August 18, Sunday in RAC Arena, Perth, Australia. UFC middleweight Champion Dricus Du Plessis will defend his title for the first time against former middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya. Adesanay is making his comeback in the UFC after he was dethroned by Sean Strickland for the middleweight Champion. There is a lot of beef going on between Du Plessis and Adesanya.
Adesanya also broke down in the press conference of UFC 305 by stating his childhood struggles and warned Du Plessis that he would ensure DDP had a tough time in the octagon. In the co-main event, Steve Erceg will take on Kai Kara-France. Erceg is coming from a loss against UFC Flyweight Champion Alexandre Pantoja while France is on two consecutive losses, both fighters want to be back in the winning column.
Dan Hooker will also be in the action, he is on two back-to-back wins and will be against no. 5 ranked Mateusz Gamrot who is also unbeaten in the last three fights and will look to win the fight and could come close to the title fight. The fight will be in the Lightweight division.
