Oliver Skipp’s move to Leicester offers him a reunion with manager Steve Cooper who coached him in England’s youth team. Under his guidance, the defensive midfielder played 24 games for the England Under-21s including the final of the European Championship last year when they beat Spain 1-0 to win the title. He even stated that the chance to work with Cooper convinced him to move to the King Power Stadium.

“I’ve got the feeling that it’s a good group of people and a good group of players. I’m sure that we’ve got a squad capable of challenging in every game,” Skipp told Leicester’s official website.
