As per Fortune India’s list, Virat Kohli paid a whopping sum of 66 crore rupees as income tax for the financial year ending on March 31, 2024. By virtue of this, the star Indian player left behind MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and Hardik Pandya in the Indian sportspersons list. Surprisingly, the name of Indian skipper Rohit Sharma is nowhere seen in the list.

Meanwhile, young Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant is last on the list with Rs 10 crore tax.
