New Delhi: Indian skipper Rohit Sharma, along with other team members reached Chennai ahead of the start of first Test match against Bangladesh. Spotted in a yellow jersey, Rohit was seen engaging with fans and obliging to their requests of clicking selfies after exiting from the airport. During this moment, a heartwarming gesture from Indian captain sealed all the eyeballs.
Immediately after his exit and as soon as he sat in his car, Rohit made it a point to video his wife Ritika and inform about his arrival in Chennai. This moment was captured by a fan and it went viral on social media with people praising his gesture towards his family. The video won a lot of praise especially among his fans with people in awe of the Indian skipper.

Rohit leads the batting charts
The latest ICC rankings showed Rohit Sharma lead the charts with his new number five rank and 751 rating points. Despite not playing several Test matches in the recent time, Rohit has maintained his rank in the batting charts and happens to be the top-ranked Indian in the latest ICC rankings, followed by Virat Kohli.
Hitman, as he’s popularly known, retired from the shortest format of cricket but continues to represent India in the ODIs and Tests. India will play two Test matches against the Bangla Tigers followed by a three-match T20I series.
