UFC Champion Alex Pereira’s sister Aline Pereira knocks out Dee Wegley

New Delhi: UFC Light Heavyweight champion Alex Pereira’s sister Aline Pereira took on Dee Begley at the Karate Combat 50 in Salt Lake City on October 11, Friday. Begley was nine pounds more than the weight class but Aline accepted the fight.

In the first round, Aline fired up and attacked Begley with a Pereira family signature left hook and sent Begley to the canvas. Aline didn’t wait and rushed upon Begley and rained down with multiple punches in the ground. The referee stopped the bout remaining only 35 seconds in the first round.

In the post-match conference, Aline acknowledged his brother UFC champ Alex Pereira that she learned the left hook and combination from him. Aline was also disappointed that Begley missed the weight as this win didn’t count in her weight division.

Aline also came from a Kickboxing background like her brother Alex, She is 1-2 in her MMA career and it was her debut in the Karate combat and the debut fight of Aline in Karate gave her a lifetime moment in her career.

After the win, Aline ran to hug his brother Alex and was looking emotional after her win. The crowd also started chanting ‘Chama Chama’ after the Aline’s win.

It has been a perfect October for the Pereira family as Alex defeated Khalil Rountree Jr. via knockout at the UFC 307 event. Alex has knocked out three fighters in the last six months and won his last four fights in just a year.

Alex’s last fight against Rountree Jr. was one of the best fights of 2024 as the fight went to four rounds. Rountree was leading in the first two rounds but when Alex got the chance to come back in the fight he took only one round to knock out Rountree Jr. After the win, Alex announced that now he will be taking some rest from MMA and will not return until the first half of 2025
