India post highest-ever total by a full-member nation in T20Is
India scripted history with a batting masterclass against Bangladesh in the 3rd T20I as the Men in Blue went on to post the highest-ever total by a full-member nation in T20Is. India rode on Samson’s 111, Suryakumar’s 75 and Hardik’s quickfire cameo of 47 off 18 balls to post a mammoth total of 297/6 in 20 overs in Hyderabad.
India recorded the highest-ever total by a full-member nation in T20Is, breaking Afghanistan’s record of 278 runs against Ireland in 2019. India missed out by a whisker on becoming the first full-member nation to reach the elusive 300-run mark in T20Is. India’s 297/6 is the second-highest total of all time in T20I history behind only Nepal’s 314/3 which came against Mongolia in September last year.
India recorded their best-ever Powerplay score in T20Is and their fastest ever team 100 as Sanju Samson and Suryakumar Yadav made a mockery of the Bangladesh bowling attack in the 3rd T20I in Hyderabad.
