As the statement indicates, the military clarified that there were no hostages in the area where the three individuals were killed, despite previous reports suggesting that Sinwar may have been hiding among hostages, using them as human shields.

The IDF emphasized that both military and Shin Bet forces continue to operate with the necessary caution in the area, aiming to minimize risks during their operations. As the investigation continues, the situation remains fluid, with the potential for significant implications for the ongoing conflict in the region. Sinwar was the mastermind of the October 7 attack on Israel.
