New Delhi: No matter whether it’s a white ball or a red ball, Abhishek Sharma only knows one way to play. The left-handed batter is one of the most explosive batters in Indian cricket and one of those players who don’t care about the format of the game. Fans, who have witnessed Abhishek playing some blazing knocks in white-ball cricket, saw something extraordinary on Tuesday as the left-handed batter turned heads with a sensational knock in red-ball cricket.
Featuring in the Times Shield Tournament – the oldest and largest office tournament in the whole of Asia – played across 3/4 days, Abhishek was at his explosive best. The young opener turned red-ball cricket into a T20 match with a blistering knock of 60 runs in 22 balls in the Times Shield tournament.
Abhishek played his natural game in the red-ball tournament and hit some massive blows all over the park. He punished both pacers and spinners to set the tournament ablaze.
