New Delhi: The Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), which manages the Amul brand, has decreased the prices of three milk variants – Amul Shakti, Amul Gold, and Amul Fresh. The new rates are effective from January 24, 2025, GCMMF Managing Director Jayen Mehta confirmed.
Amul, one of the leading dairy brands in India, announced a Re 1 per litre price cut for its three main products. With rates being reduced, Amul Gold (1L) will now cost for Rs 65, Amul Tea Special (1 litre pack) will now be available for Rs 61 and Amul Taaza 1L pack will cost Rs 53.
“Amul has reduced the price of milk by Re 1 in Amul Gold, Amul Taaza and Amul Tea Special 1 kg pack,” ANI quoted Jayen Mehta, MD, Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation as saying.
