New Delhi: Air carrier IndiGo was praised by a social media user on Reddit for distributing food packets containing snacks and other refreshments during a delay on a Delhi to Leh flight. The flight was delayed on account of bad weather and passengers had to wait for 4 hours.
However, the gesture from IndiGo prompted the passenger to take to Reddit to praise the airline.
Social media users respond
IndiGo, which has made headlines for multiple reasons and has also drawn flak for delays at times, was praised by social media users on Reddit stating that the airline was much better than any Indian airline right now.
Another individual said they have always valued IndiGo’s hygiene and cleanliness. But the same person added that the airline does not greet passengers anymore like they used to.
However, other passengers shared their negative experiences while travelling with IndiGo. While one passenger said the airline allegedly made them beg while they were supposed to join their first job, another criticised their corporate meal as being overpriced and zero value for money.
