New Delhi: Arpita Mehta’s latest collection celebrates the languorous interplay of neutrals in contrasts, drawing inspiration from the serene essence of Goa’s landscape. The collection explores the duality of neutrals—blacks and creams—colours that embody both quiet elegance and bold confidence, mirroring the transformative power of the ocean. Like the softest coastline breeze at dawn, this collection is soft and wispy.
For this collection, Arpita introduces ethereal floral pattern laces in nude tones, creating a delicate canvas for intricate craftsmanship. The pieces feature meticulous 3D floral work, maintaining a soft, wispy aesthetic that defines the luxury holiday line. Sheer fabrics dominate the collection inspired by muse Lisa Hayden, offering a sophisticated play of transparency and texture, while dramatic elements like mirror work, pearl embellishments, and delicate fringes add depth and movement to each piece.
The collection finds its perfect muse in Lisa Haydon, whose multifaceted personality embodies the spirit of the line. As a mother of three, wife, and woman of substance, Haydon represents the modern woman who plays through life’s many roles while still being herself– driven, free-spirited, curious, and of deep faith. Says the designer, “I have always loved Lisa not only for her beauty and inherent style but also for her ability to be fully present in the moment, going with the flow and yet having a clear sense of her priorities. Lisa is someone who wants to experience life to the fullest, against the dualities we’re all faced with, and it is that grace that this collection captures.” The campaign was shot in Haydon’s holiday town Phuket against the pristine backdrop of Anantara Koh Yao Yai’s private beach.
The collection features silhouettes that celebrate this mood. A lace kaftan with fringe and 3D flowers adds drama. A mirror and pearl fringed top paired with a sheer skirt entirely embroidered with mirrors and pearls presents a Sangeet outfit. A black mirror-work jacket with a sheer skirt gets you ready for a cocktail soirée. The collection handpicks pieces that offer versatile luxury wear that transitions from sunrise to sunset.
Through this careful curation of neutral tones and detailed craftsmanship, Arpita Mehta presents a collection that speaks to the duality of modern femininity – serene yet bold, elegant yet carefree but in all cases, fiercely, boldly itself.
Arpita Mehta’s latest collection, inspired by Goa’s serene landscapes, celebrates the interplay of neutrals with sheer fabrics, 3D florals, and elegant mirror work. Fashion Lifestyle News -Fashion Trends, Beauty Tips, Celebrity Party News, Relationship advice, Travel and Food Tips
