Washington DC: US President Joe Biden met the US National Security Team along with VP Kamala Harris amid the fears of an Iranian attack on Israel.
Tensions in the Middle East have intensified, especially after the assassination of Hamas Chief Ismail Haniyeh.
US President Joe Biden Holds Meeting with National Security Team
The President of United States, Joe Biden shared a photograph of his meeting with the country’s national security team, along with Kamala Harris to discuss the rising tensions in Middle East.
Along with the photo, Biden revealed what all was discussed during the meeting.
‘We Received Updates on Threats Posed by Iran and its Proxies’
Joe Biden said, “Earlier Vice President Kamala Harris and I were briefed in the Situation Room on developments in the Middle East. We received updates on threats posed by Iran and its proxies, diplomatic efforts to de-escalate regional tensions, and preparations to support Israel should it be attacked again.”
Biden further said, “We also discussed the steps we are taking to defend our forces and respond to any attack against our personnel in a manner and place of our choosing.”
