Atlanta: A major incident was averted at the Atlanta Airport on Tuesday after two Delta Airlines aircraft collided on the taxiway at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. The incident took place in Atlanta, Georgia, when a Delta Airlines Airbus A350-941 aircraft (N503DN) clipped the vertical stabilizer off the Delta Connection Bombardier CRJ-900LR plane (N302PQ), operating flight DL 5526.
As per FAA officials, one of the aircraft’s wings struck the tail of another, causing it to come off.
