New Delhi: Burglars broke into the home of Douglas Luiz and Alisha Lehmann this Saturday. In addition to Lehmann’s necklaces and jewels, the investigation claims the thieves took 11 watches worth around €500,000. After Juventus’ victory over Lazio, Luiz went out to supper with his teammates and called the police when he got home at around 1:30 a.m. to find his house had been broken into.
Surprisingly, this isn’t the first time Juventus players are experiencing this, as in the past there have been cases of robberies in the past. Former players such as Moise Kean, Kaio Jorge and Angel Di Maria have all experienced similar situations in the past. Italy is a country where robberies are very common, and the city of Turin experienced around 5,683.5 crimes per 100,000 inhabitants in the year 2023. However, this figure is nothing compared to what happens in Naples and Rome, where robbery cases are at peak.
In the past, there are other players who have experienced similar situations in the past, including two of former Napoli players. The Brazilian midfielder Allan’s house was broken into, while his pregnant wife was at home back, while Piotr Zielinski’s car was also broken into a few years back.
Are there any reports revealed by the Police?
