Rates charged by the lenders for locker facility depend on the size of the locker (small, medium, and large) and the location of the locker (urban and metro).

PNB Locker Charges

PNB Safe Deposit Rate (Locker Rate) is calculated on the basis of the size of the locker. If a customer has already paid the rent for 5 years in advance and surrenders the locker in between, then the rent would be deducted on an annual basis. Charges for customers of rural and semi-urban would be Rs 200 in the name of registration fee. Whereas the registration fee for urban and metro branches is Rs 500.

HDFC Bank Locker Charges

There exists a difference in rents of lockers in different branches of the same category. HDFC Bank charges the bank locker rent on a yearly basis and has to be deposited in advance. Apart from this, the charge for the locker depends on its size and the location of the particular branch. Such as metro, urban, semi-urban and rural. GST is not included in the rates right now, 18 percent GST is added separately at the end.

ICICI Bank Locker Charges

In ICICI Bank, locker rent depends on the location of branch and size of the locker. The rent is charged on an annual basis and is deposited in advance. Allotment of locker depends on the availability of the bank and all the terms and conditions related to it are given in the locker agreement.
